Manager

My name is Jenny I am the Care Manager for Home Instead Basildon. I have worked within the care setting for many years in the fields of domiciliary care and in the acute hospital setting.  I have almost completed my  Level 5 Diploma in Health and Social Care. I decided to pursue a career in  care service after nursing my Grandmother at home with cancer. I feel it is important  to provide care and support to enable people to stay in their own homes where they feel safe and familiar. I am married with 4 children and enjoy spending my spare time with my family and friends.

Deborah Streetly

My name is Debbie and I am the joint owner of Home Instead Basildon. I have spent my working life in Healthcare as a nurse. Caring and making a difference has always been my passion whether in hospital or the community setting. Joining Home Instead has enabled me to be able to continue to provide high quality, empathic and person- centred care to my local community. I am a Dementia Champion, Dignity Champion and an Everymind Champion and have completed specialist medical training to be able to offer healthcare services to our clients in addition to the other services we offer. In my spare time I love to be with my family especially my two grandsons Charlie and Teddy. I also enjoy knitting, gardening, reading baking and visiting historic properties.

Farrukh Khan

My name is Farrukh and I am the joint owner of Home Instead Basildon. I have spent over 30 years working as a doctor providing care to the local people within the hospital and community setting. Home Instead enabled me to be able to pursue my passion of being able to provide individualised care to my local community enabling people to stay within their own homes where they are happiest. I have completed a specialist medical training course to enable our clients who need specialist care to be able to access our services too. I enjoy spending time with the family when not working and my hobbies include baking bread, Cooking authentic Asian cuisine, gardening, cycling and I also enjoy developing my YouTube channels.
